Work:Ethic Podcasts

Here at Work:Ethic we love our music and want to tell everyone about the stuff we love so we've put this together for your listening pleasure. The music we feature comes from the top, middle and bottom of our record collections. There's going to be old music and new music. Serious music and silly music. Mixed and unmixed. We don't really care about genres and pigeonholes and hope you don't either. You might not like everything we put on our podcasts but we hope you find them interesting all the same. Above all, we hope you enjoy them and keep tuning in.

Moore Outside

"I personally believe that all life is a conflict; that’s something to be accepted, something you have to know. And you have to die, too, which is the opposite of living. One must try to find a synthesis, to come to terms with opposite qualities. Art and life are made up of conflicts.

I think really that in great art, i.e. in the art I find great, this conflict is hidden, it is unsolved. Great at is not perfect. Take the Rondanini Pietà, one of the greatest works of Michelangelo. It is not a perfect work of art. There is a huge arm remaining from the earlier statue which was later changed into the Pietà. It has nothing to do with the composition. Nevertheless, it was left there."

Henry Moore.

Rapha London

This May, for three months only, the Rapha Cycle Club will open in London. A unique combination of gallery, shop and café, the Cycle Club is a meeting place where riders can share their passion for road racing.

A full calendar of events including film and music evenings, book and product launches, evening screenings of races, regular group rides and Rapha customer and club evenings will enable visitors to immerse themselves in road cycling throughout the summer. This unique cycling experience may be called a 'Club', but membership is free. The only qualification is an interest in the sport of road racing.
